Our family-owned SUD treatment program is growing and we're seeking a Medical Director that is passionate about working with people seeking recovery.

Ethos Recovery Clinic provides integrated services for individuals seeking relief from opioid use. We utilize approved medication-assisted therapies and harm reduction approaches combined with behavioral change therapies to achieve the individualized goals of those we serve. The Medical Director is responsible for the overall smooth operation of medical services provided by Ethos Recovery programs. Medically responsible for all employees administering medical attention, including, but not limited to: Nurses, Medication Administrators. Experience in MOUD, Harm reduction and Withdrawal Managment/Detox preferred.

Job Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

1. Responsible for the overall, smooth execution of medical services provided by Ethos Recovery programs, which includes overseeing all medical staff to ensure compliance with state, federal and local regulations including Department of Health and Department of Human Services.

2. Responsible for ensuring that all medical evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations have been completed.

3. Responsible for ongoing treatment of patients including signing or countersigning medical orders and documentation required by state and federal regulations.

4. Partners to facilitate and lead in the development of organization wide best facility practices and guidelines in accordance with evidence-based medicine.

5. Collaborates with management, nursing, and other professional staff to discuss clinical and administrative issues and specific patient care problems.

6. Serves as a clinical resource to assist in day-to-day problem solving in coordination with management and nursing to ensure efficient, high-quality care.

Requirements:

o Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO)

o Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota

o Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working

o Prefer previous experience in behavioral health/substance abuse treatment

o No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

o Must possess the ability to communicate with others in a clear, understandable and professional manner on the phone, through telemedicine and in person; and the demonstrated use of good written and verbal skills.

o Must possess the ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.

o Must be able to pass Minnesota DHS background study.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
